there was semolina, butter, which we fried together to make the semolina golden brown. then we added water and sugar, which were being heated separately to the semolina. Jagadvala Prabhu made the halva that day. I happened to help him a little.

THe vegetariian cookbook by Kurma das (Great Vegetarian Dishes) has a good recipe otherwise, otherwise try our own local devotee's recipe by Dandaniti's in her small recipe book (in danish- Hellige Kalorier) for good ideas. Otherwise I can send you a recipe. Pinapple is also super good! :-D
