How I joined / Became A Friend of ISKCON

One verse of the Bhagavad-gita attracted my heart in a schoolbook about religions and I desperately thought: "I have to read that book!!!"
Some weeks later I saw it in the window of the Hare Krishna temple of Malmö/Sweden, so I went in and bhought it. There I was invited to visit the restuarant and from there I was invited to listen to Radio Krishna and from the Radio was an invitation to go to the Sunday feasts and when I went I felt like I knew everybody and that those people were familiar to me. Since then I went every Sunday to the temple and soon I also started to go to the morning programs and started to do service. I did temple service for 7 years until they closed down the temple 1998, but still service is not dependent on anything else than the desire to render it.

Interests

To dive deep into the philosophy of Krishna consciousness. To experience Krishnas presence in my daily life. To have deep exchanges of Krishna-katha with devotees.

Countries Visited

Many but India is most important for me. Its energy is so different from all countrys I have visited.

ISKCON Temples Visited

My favourite is Radhadesh and Goloka Dhama in Frankfurt. Radha Damodar temple is also the most heart melting as well as Sri Sri Krishna Balaram mandir in Vrindavana.

Favorite Food

Ecstatic prasadam, whatever it might bee. In Goloka Dhama I drank maha-milk from Sri Sri Radha-Madanmohana and when it touched my lips I started to laugh and laugh and everybody else who drank that milk also.

Bhagavad-gita and Brihad-bhagavatamrita for the moment.

Non-profit music made by devotees in life kirtans and bhajans.
